Our vision
Where every child in Yorkshire has immediate access to the very best advanced medical technology.
Our mission follows from that. We identify, with our hospital partners, the technology that will most advance children's care: equipment that improves a child's diagnosis, treatment or recovery and that cannot, or is unlikely to, be funded through the NHS.
We work with Yorkshire's centres of excellence, partner with other funders wherever we can, and make sure every donation leads to a measurable, tangible improvement in a child's care.
How we work
Clinician-led. Hospital-delivered. Measured for five years.
Clinician-led
We don't decide what hospitals need. Our clinical trustee, Consultant Paediatric Surgeon Mr Naved Alizai, works with teams across Yorkshire to identify the technology that will make the biggest measurable difference.
Beyond the NHS budget
A surgical simulator, a light-therapy unit or a gene sequencer can transform outcomes for children, yet each sits outside what a hospital can routinely fund. We only fund what the NHS cannot.
Measured for five years
We fund through each hospital's own charity, so every purchase goes through NHS procurement. Hospitals report back to us every year for five years, and we pass that on to the people who paid for it.

Make a difference
Every pound buys equipment. Nothing is wasted on the way.
We are a lean charity run by a small team and volunteer trustees. Donations go to the hospitals' own charities to buy equipment through NHS procurement, and we tell you exactly what your money bought.
