Charity Clay Day 2024: our first event raises £78,557

Our first fundraising event, a Clay Day at Rievaulx Abbey on Friday 7 June 2024, raised an outstanding £78,557 towards the Laparo Apex.

We are proud to share the success of our first fundraising event, a Charity Clay Day at Rievaulx Abbey held on Friday 7 June 2024, which raised an incredible £78,557.

Thanks to this generous support, and using existing reserves, we have been able to complete the purchase of the Laparo Apex, a £100,000 surgical training device that will be used to train surgeons at Leeds General Infirmary from the end of July.

Your contributions will help ensure that children in Yorkshire receive the best possible medical care. Thank you.
