Zoë Metcalfe appointed as Luma Foundation's first Chief Executive
The trustees have appointed Zoë Metcalfe to lead the Foundation day to day as it grows its programme of projects and partnerships across Yorkshire.

Luma Foundation has appointed Zoë Metcalfe as its first Chief Executive Officer. Zoë joins the charity to set and deliver its strategy, build relationships with hospitals, donors and corporate partners across Yorkshire, and lead the fundraising programme.
The appointment follows a period of rapid growth for the Foundation since its relaunch in 2024, with two Charity Clay Days, the Laparo Apex surgical simulator and two photobiomodulation units delivered to Leeds Children's Hospital, and a new appeal for Sheffield Children's Hospital in development.
